Washing machines are a part of everyday life. You take them for granted and even dread interacting with them, wishing that was someone else’s job. Then, the day comes when it isn’t working as expected, and you know immediately that it is one of the most important tools you have. You must get it fixed right away.

Types of Washing Machines Services

We service the following types of washing machines, and can get you back up and running:

  • Front load
  • Top load
  • Compact
  • Combination washer/dryer

Most Common Issues (We Can Help)

Can’t Turn on Washing Machine

Usually, this is due to a tripped switch, which occurs when an imbalanced load needs to be distributed more evenly. However, it could be an issue with the timing circuits of the machine or the electrical outlet. This needs to be referred to our professionals.

Soaked Laundry after Spin Cycle

If your laundry is soaking wet the end of the wash cycle, it likely means the machine is not rotating during the spin cycle. Some causes can be a bad lid switch, burnt-out spin solenoid (the thing that makes the washer spin) or a number of other things. This is another job for a professional.

Washing Machine Leaks

This is one that you may be able to fix on your own. If you put in too much soap, the machine will overflow and leak sudsy water. If that is not the case, the culprit can be drain pipe clogs, loose hoses, leaking pumps or other damage. If your detergent overdose is the culprit, just clean up and your machine should be back in working order. For any of the other issues, it is probably best to let us help you out.

Water is not Draining Fully

If water is left in the washing machine drum after the cycle completes, you may have to replace one or more parts. Our service technician will check for a malfunctioning pump, blocked drain hose or worn drive belt. Failure to fully drain can cause many more serious issues.

Cold Water isn’t Working When Selected

This can be caused by the valve being closed, which you can likely check on your own. There may be sediment blocking the valve. If you need help checking these items, we are here to help.

Clothes are Spotting after Washing

These spots can be the result of transmission oil leaking into the drum from a bad transmission. Give us a call right away for this one.
